About Us
| History Of Shadow Squad. Shadow Squad was formed in the fall of 2007 by Andrew Mcgill and Andrew Sherriff , and Flagswipe paintball has always been our home field. We have always played in all the Flagswipe big games each year, traditionally anywhere from 4 to 5 games annually.During the 2008 season the Canadian Tactical Series tournament was introduced and we were asked to be one of the first 5 teams to compete. The series was started and brought together by Flagswipe Paintball and the Black Ops paintball team. We played in the CTS for two years and the third year Flagswipe offered us a role to help run the series as game officials. In 2010 we took over many of the operations of the series and the name was changed to the “BT Series” due to a major sponsor coming on board. www.btseries.com. In 2011 we returned to playing competitive paintball and entered a new series the Tac 5, once again we were one of the first 7 teams to compete. And we finished the first season of the Tac 5 3rd Overall.
2013 marks a new era in Shadow Squad history. After 5 years playing woodsball, we are hanging up our tac vests and putting on pod packs. That’s right we are jumping head first into the word of speedball. That’s right speedball. We will joining the NAPL – North American Paintball League in Syracuse, New York. This wasn’t an easy decision, but after the TAC 5 folded last year we had a bit of time to think over our options. In the end decided to try our hand at something new.We would like to thank all of you who hand supported us over the years and trust me. We will still be the same team you all know and love. A very special thank you to our sponsors who have help us along the way Flagswipe Paintball, buypaintball.ca, dirt, backdrafts, Custom products (CP), Empire paintball, London airport and for our training gear T.Litzen and Nike.
